Gran Colegiata Original Reserva is a classic red wine from Toro, offering rich dark fruit, oak spice, and a touch of old-world elegance.

Vinification

Made from 100% Tempranillo, harvested from vines over 60 years old. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at around 24–28 °C for 12–15 days. The wine is then aged for 18 months in American oak barrels to develop complexity and smooth tannins.

Tasting Notes

Shows a garnet-red color. On the nose: very ripe black fruits like plums and blackberries, with notes of licorice, vanilla, cocoa, and leather. On the palate, it is silky, medium-bodied, well-balanced, and complex, with good acidity and a long, lingering finish.

Pairing Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with roasted meats and vegetables, game, and mature cheeses. Serve at about 15–17 °C for best enjoyment.
